KUANTAN, April 12 — The 155 schools in the districts of Temerloh and Jerantut, ordered closed for two days due to the extreme hot weather, will re-open tomorrow.
Pahang Education director Datuk Rosdi Ismail, when contacted, said the directive for the schools to re-open came after the latest temperature recorded in the two districts dropped to 36.1 degrees Celsius.
He said 50,492 students were affected by the temporary closure due to the hot water. — Bernama
